Wanda was born January 15, 1941 in Mars, PA, a daughter of the late Wayne and Pearl (Kelly) Shorts. Wanda attended Mt. Union College where she studied music. She was very accomplished on the piano and organ, as well as vocal participation in area churches. She had taught piano for many years. She was an avid golfer and looked forward to golfing with her family. She also enjoyed gardening and quilting. Wanda had been the office manager for various doctors in the Salem area for 15 years and most recently had worked for Dr. Sinkovic... Early on, Angela had a sense of adventure that took her to Texas to pursue both a bachelor's degree at the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
